I have been making films since I got my hands on my parents' DV tape recorder at 12. I made comedic sketches, dramatic lip syncing videos and artistic films with social messages. While my skills have improved substantially, my taste and pursuit of excellence remain consistent.
After receiving a BFA in Film and TV from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, I developed a real love for making documentaries on top of my passion for writing. My favorite part of the process is connecting with my subjects and weaving a story through our conversation. I love to bring out the best in people. This skill has helped me with everything from work with clients such as Google to conversing with quinoa farmers on the mountains of Peru.
While in New York City, I started doing improv at the Magnet Theater. This was so important for me as a writer and performer and helped open up many forms of artistic expression and communication.
